How Acadian On Call Works The button on the pendant activates the system when pushed  . The system contacts the Acadian Ambulance dispatch center. An Acadian On Call dispatcher communicates with you via the hands-free speaker and mic on the communicator box. Medical assistance is dispatched if necessary.
